Just one month after their song entitled “Dedma” was released, netizens has sparked an outrage on how their new song is diabolical. Many theists commented on their music video on how the song is so Godless, some even claimed that Abra is a member of the Illuminati movement. A youtube comment says
Wala Diyos ba Abra? Illuminati ka na nga talaga. Kaya pala nasa Artifice kana. Sa mga mag rereply dito sa comment ko, bago kayo maniwala sa mga idol nyo I-analyze nyo muna yung mga kanta, lyrics.
However, some netizens supported their idol, one fan even said that it doesn’t matter if Abra and Julie Anne are atheists, and that they will still respect their belief no matter what.
Other netizens also gave their opinion on how the song is not really about atheism or defying God, some says it’s actually about the believers who becomes ‘hypocrite’ because of their beliefs.
In their music video, there are some lyrics that states about their disbelief or doubt on God.
In this video you can hear the phrases that sounds like questioning the existence of God. Like:
Bakit hindi ko maintindihan
Sino ba at nasaan
Ano sya anito? superhero?
taga rito ba o baka taga bwan?
But the most intriguing (and probably the part where Christians burst their rage), is this line that blasphemously questioned the existence and ability of God. The lyric says:
Paano kung walang kabilang buhay?
Paano nyo kame matutubos?
Paano kung wala paring patunay
Yun ay kase wala naman talagang Dyos?
Na bwakaw magpasamba
Kung ayaw mo daw ay mananalanta
A comment in the music video also pointed out the relationship of Abra and ArtificeRecords, claiming that artifice records is part of the Illuminati. Artifice means a tool to deceive others, and many conspiracy theorist claims that Illuminati is deceiving or controlling the world.
